Free run round time

Post by Heist on Wed Jul 31, 2013 8:14 pm

Hi :3,

my suggestion is to extend the free round time to 2 minutes instead of 1.
I have 2 reasons for this.

1:
Bad internet, a higher number of players are successfully connected AFTER the free-round has ended which kind of ruins the experience.

2:
Most maps can't be practiced on because they are too long in comparison with the free-run time, you either do it all 1 try or you won't be able to finish. Although free-run is here to practice.

That's it,
tell me what you think in the poll.

It's a no for me. The free round is there to give people a chance to connect before the game starts, yes. However, if they have to download the map or it for some other reason takes more than one minute then I don't think everyone else should have to wait for them.

Sure, you wont be able to finish dragonball in 1 minute, but if you take a map like cookie it gets pretty tedious with one minute. If you have a 2 min free round that would mean 2 minutes of doing nothing but waiting for that round to end.

Also, if free round was strictly there for people to connect they also could've frozen all the players for 10 seconds, since that's the "average" time for people to connect.
