Steam broadcast

Post by Dunciboy on Wed Dec 03, 2014 8:46 pm

Apparently Twitch is getting some competition from Valve. If you opt in the steam beta client you can immediately start broadcasting your games. And even watch broadcast of your friends by just right clicking watch game.

The idea is awesome, no more 3th party software to stream your games. No more ads/twitch turbo/subscription fees Wink

I've already tested it and it looks awesome, besides from the lowered video quality as it is in beta stage. It also has less delay than twitch.

As the twitch community mostly exists out of LoL fanboys, this is a great chance for Valve to bring up their games and many others!

Basicly you can stream every game you start with steam. So games you manually add should also work.
